Malaysia – ChildSafe: Protecting Children from Abuse

Child abuse is a major problem in Asia, with alarming statistics revealing that 1 in 10 children are sexually abused and 1 in 4 children are physically abused. To combat this issue, Fondation Rolf Schnyder has launched ChildSafe II, an initiative that aims to protect children from abuse through education and empowerment.

Our curriculum addresses the problem of sexual abuse and provides a strategy to help prevent it. We partner with schools, teachers, parents, and communities to train child care takers and empower children with simple safety lessons. Additionally, our team is committed to creating and providing child-friendly and engaging resources and content to schools and communities throughout Malaysia.

Since 2019, we have trained over 549 teachers, and through them, empowered more than 15,334 children and counting. At Fondation Rolf Schnyder, we believe that every child deserves to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment, free from the trauma of abuse. Join us in our mission to protect the children of Malaysia.
